use a denman brush.. it cuts down on the detangling process by a considerable amount of time. Ive been natural for a year and i just got one about a week ago.. and cant believe ive ever lived without one. Combs dont really detangle all the strands but the denman brush really does seem to do the trick!!

yo, i am a mexican teen boy who has coarse dry hair, and I want to grow it out long and smooth. will deep conditioning make it smooth and straight? or can I use a relaxing technique?

To be safe and with your parents permission, you could ask a professional about flat ironing your hair straight.
