im not black im a mexican woman and i have dry curly hair and ive been researching on using natural oils for longer more moisturized hair and i have found that coconut oil is a miracle for dry hair and have been scientifically proven to be the only oil to penetrate the hair unlike olive oil. I personally mix coconut oil with avocado oil and rub it on my ends, sometimes i warm it up and massage my scalp and ends then wrap it up in a towel and leave it for an hour or more

i have straight hair that is 5 inches long. do i need to get extensions for corn rows?

This is an awesome message. I always try to give my business to my people. However, black business owners need to realize that they must provide better customer service. I refuse to spend money in a place where the owners just expect me to shop there because I’m black, but don’t put forth effort in order to keep me coming back. Just because we’re both black doesn’t entitle you to act any kind of way. Lets put our best foot forward and become respectable BLACK BUSINESS OWNERSS.

Honey and water mix does not make your hair sticky the honey acts as a humectant and seals in moisture such as the water thus, this helps the hair have a shine. Thanx

I know honey is good for hair and skin, but brwn sugar? interesting. Thx for the idea! Another thing that keeps dandruff down is NO petroleum and using oil instead, like Olive Oil.

I have locs, so I was wondering about the brown sugar getting trapped in the loc. I really enjoyed hearing about the honey and water. Thank you so much for this one.

Some of the comments make me wonder if these are the same jerks that don’t mind sticking mayo or pig placenta in their hair.. I know they they should not be worried about brown sugar ..seeing as some of their stuff has corn syrup and food fragrances in the hair care containers.
